SEN Teacher

Are you a SEND Teacher looking for a new role in Brent? Or are you a mainstream teacher looking to branch out into the world of special educational needs? Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a experienced SEND Teacher to join a secondary school in Wembley. You will be working within the schools SEN unit which caters for a small number of students with speech and language needs. This is a full time, long-term role starting in September. They offer a broad and challenging curriculum for all. The school also has an additional resourced provision (ARP) for up to 12 students with speech and language difficulties. As a SEND teacher you will be responsible for the below: Planning, delivering and lessons whilst assessing progress Working with the support staff to put in place and run interventions Support behaviour by following the children's plans Updating and setting targets for children Offering advice and guidance to the teachers within the main school Working alongside the SENDCO and other professionalsTo join us and be successful in this role you will ideally need : QTS Knowledge of, or previous experience working within complex needs or SEND An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible Legal right to work in the UKClick 'Applynow' to be considered for this great position as a SEN Teacher in Brent or for more information about the role, contact RajJoshi
