Senior Site Engineer Are you a driven and experienced Senior Site Engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity? A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor who has a strong track record of delivering high quality projects across the UK is currently looking for a Senior Site Engineer to join their new £96m government project in Wiltshire About the role This large-scale government High security project features a substantial ground works package along side 3 large precast concrete blocks and 500,000 Sqft of external space and ancillary buildings space, as part of a collaborative multi-disciplined team, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of this project. Responsibilities of the Senior Site Engineer Oversee all engineering activities on-site, ensuring work is carried out according to design specifications and industry standards Manage site surveys, setting out, and quality control to ensure accurate and precise execution of the project Coordinate with the site team, subcontractors and consultants to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project progress Monitor construction progress, identifying any deviations from the plans, and implement corrective measures Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and site staffRequirements for the Senior Site Engineer Proven experience as a Senior Site Engineer working on large scale projects with deep earthworks Strong technical knowledge of construction processes, engineering principles and relevant regulations Excellent problems solving abilities and attention to detail Strong communication skills with ability to manage and mentor junior staff Degree in Civil Engineering would be desirable What we offer This opportunity comes with a competitive salary and package including car allowance, mileage paid, Private health insurance and bonus.
