Senior Engineer - Electrical Engineering (C&I)

This permanent role within the defence industry primarily focuses on control and instrumentation systems, offering ample opportunities for professional growth and development. You will support the Test and Facilities C&I Team in designing, installing, and testing hardware and/or software for plant simulation systems, essential for pre-deployment testing of on-board control systems. Key Responsibilities: Developing hardware and software design solutions to agreed time, cost, and quality in accordance with project or business milestones Developing and managing requirements and acceptance criteria specific to a system or product and/or across a system of systems, platform, or programme Producing documentation required to support the design review process, including diagrams, technical specifications, supporting calculations, design evidence, and test documentation Installing relevant systems per the design documentation, ensuring all work is completed safely and to relevant standards Ensuring compliance against contractual requirements and adhering to company, safety, environmental, contractual, and local business processes, standards, procedures, and documentation Job Requirements: A relevant Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) Degree or equivalent qualification and experience within an engineering background Experience in PLC and SCADA programming, C&I system verification test design, or parts specification would be advantageous Demonstrable experience of the engineering lifecycle and technical specialities Working towards relevant Professional Registration is advantageous Benefits: Relocation support packages for eligible candidates across all Submarines roles Career development opportunities within a supportive and thriving environment Opportunities to work on unique and complex projects in the defence sector Collaborative and innovative work culture If you are an experienced engineer with a background in Controls & Instrumentation within the defence sector, we encourage you to apply now and become part of our client's dynamic team
