DevOps Engineer - Splunk Expert

Location : Fully Remote Contract : 6 months (With option to extend) Rate : Competitive (Outside IR35) Start Date : Immediate/ASAP My client is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with Splunk certification to join their dynamic team on a 6-month contract. This role is fully remote and offers an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile project for a fast-paced, forward-thinking company. As the DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in streamlining infrastructure, enhancing system reliability, and ensuring smooth CI/CD pipelines. Your expertise in Splunk will be vital for monitoring, analyzing, and securing our systems. Key Responsibilities: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments. Maintain and monitor cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Integrate, configure, and optimize Splunk for log analysis, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure system performance, scalability, and security. Automate and optimize processes for deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent). Implement security best practices and perform system monitoring using Splunk. Diagnose and troubleshoot system and application issues in production environments. Required Skills & Experience: Splunk Certified (Core or higher certifications preferred). Proven experience in a DevOps Engineer role, ideally within cloud environments. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.). Strong knowledge of AWS , Azure , or GCP cloud infrastructure. Proficiency in infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation). Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong scripting skills in Python , Bash , or equivalent. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
