IT Governance & Asset ManagerA leading company in their sector are looking for an IT Governance & Asset Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of IT governance and asset management function, ensuring they continue to operate efficiently, securely, and in line with industry standards.What you’ll be getting up to: Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, licensing agreements, and industry best practices.Conduct regular audits and assessments to verify adherence to governance policies and mitigate potential risks.Identify and address security vulnerabilities or compliance gaps related to IT assets. Manage budgets and forecasts related to IT asset acquisition, maintenance, and optimisation. Financial Oversight:Manage budgets and forecasts related to IT asset acquisition, maintenance, and optimisation.Analyse financial data to optimise asset utilisation, reduce costs, and maximise return on investment (ROI).Generate reports on financial metrics, asset performance, and compliance status for stakeholders. Stakeholder Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand IT asset requirements aligned with business needs.Communicate IT governance strategies and asset management best practices to stakeholders.Foster strong relationships with internal departments and external vendors to support IT initiatives. Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements in IT governance and asset management practices.Implement best practices and technological solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies relevant to IT governance and asset management. What you can bring to the role: 3 years of experience in IT governance, asset management, or related rolesStrong understanding of IT governance frameworks (e.G. ITIL) and asset management principles.Proficiency in asset management tools/software and familiarity with IT governance standards and regulatory requirements.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.Strong organisational skills; keep track of multiple,complex time-critical activities; attention to detail.The ability to work effectively with remote and virtual teams.The ability to work with technical and business stakeholders.Any experience with ManageEngine would be advantageous.
