Project Manager

Join us on the Journey... National Express are recruiting a Project Manager to join us on a fixed term contract (9 months). The role will be based at our Head Office, on a hybrid basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and closing UK Change projects successfully. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, effectively communicate with stakeholders, and ensure on-time, within-budget project delivery aligned to a robust governance framework. What you'll do: Execute a variety of projects from design and development through to implementation Work closely with stakeholders to define project goals and deliverables Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements Strategically manage resources and plans project lifecycle deployment Plan, schedule, monitor, and reports on overall progress and initiates corrective action, as appropriate, to ensure that project deliverables, milestones and goals are produced on time and within budget What you'll need: PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent preferred Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Change or Excellence, Technology or related field or equivalent experience Proven experience working as a Project Manager within large scale transformation / change projects Strong understanding of agile and waterfall project management methodologies and tools Understands the importance of potential Business/ Culture change in relation to driving through the change What we offer in return for your hard work and commitment...
