Core Security Officer

Role: Core Security Officer Shift Pattern: 4 days on 07:00-19:00 then 3 nights on 19:00-07:00 then 4 off. Then 3 days on 07:00-19:00 then 4 nights on 19:00-07:00 then 3 off. ?Average hours: 56 per week Pay: £13.15 per hour Location: Barking RM9 Our customer is a forward-thinking privately-owned company who are a leading provider of professional integrated bespoke security and facilities management services, giving their clients a flexible and scalable approach to addressing their security and FM requirements in their businesses across an array of sectors including educational settings / student accommodation, healthcare, charitable, corporate / estate management, warehouse / distribution, social housing, utilities, shopping centres / retail parks. Duties: * Derelict site * Access control and keeping access / egress records * Incident reporting and statement writing * Maintenance of logbooks and registers * Patrolling premises to prevent or detect signs of intrusion & ensure security of doors,windows, gates * Answer alarms and investigate disturbances * Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of your premises * Contact the police or fire departments in cases of emergency * Check alarm circuits and ensure the alarm system is functioning properly. * Visual Deterrent, Prevention of Unauthorised Visitors, Safety of Employees and Visitors, Management of Company Resources, Identification and Prevention of Offences, Enforcement of Rules and Regulations, Material Protection and Movement Control, Monitoring of Security Systems and Reassurance Essential Skills and Experience: * Smart, Professional and inspire confidence to our clients * Always exhibit outstanding customer service * Good communication skills on all levels * Strong customer service skills * Strong work ethic and proactive mindset to resolve all concerns to expectation * Valid SIA DS Licence Our customer is committed to equal opportunities.
