Events Program Manager Agency Reference Number: 83522 We are working with a multinational tech company to recruit a Program Manager - Global Industry Event Operations. The overview will be to support end-to-end strategic project management for our Tier 1 industry and global business unit events. Salary: £350-£390 per day Duration: October 2024 – May 2025 Location: Fully remote, must be UK based Start: ASAP (Mid-October) Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Support all event logistics in planning and executing events, primarily third-party, including sponsorship and contract negotiation, budget management and POs, booth design and production, ad hoc event activities, content and messaging liaison, branding/creative liaison, AV requirements and setup, F&B requirements and setup, giveaways, booth setup and teardown, vendor staffing Collaborate across a global team, including partnering with colleagues and vendors across regions to support and execute high-profile programs Build and maintain strong, positive working relationships with members of the extended Marketing team and other stakeholders to execute event-related marketing activities across disciplines Demonstrate proficiency in cross-functional project management and delivery of outstanding customer event experiences end-to-end Process required documentation (contracts, POs, invoices, etc.) and system entries/updates (calendars, project management tools, etc.) for all activities on time The successful candidate MUST: Have 5-7 years of event management experience in physical event environments Be happy to travel to the site’s location 3 days per week Project leadership experience with proven track record of success, including experience working in a virtual team environment across different time zones Venn Group is an equal opportunities employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates.
