Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Our client, a leading FMCG manufacturer, seek to appoint a Electrical Maintenance Engineer to their engineering team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the appointed Electrical Maintenance Engineer will work closely with the production department to increase OEE, respond to breakdowns as and when they occur, and make suggestions for continuous improvement. Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Role & Responsibilities  - Respond to breakdowns, carry out PPMs, provide continuous maintenance support to production department  - Implement SPC and process capability to drive continuous improvement  - Support Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing Projects floowing Six Sigma principles  - Fully conversant with OEE / MTTR / MTTF proactively working to reduce downtime and improve machine capability  - Facilitate and introduce FMEAs Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer - Skills & Abilities  - Time served or C&G/ONC/HNC qualified  - Multiskilled with minimum 10 years experience in a fast moving automated manufacturing environment  - Strong fault finding skills. Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic. PLC fault finding adantageous but not essential  - 24VDC/415/240v control and electrical systems experience Maintenance Engineer, Electrical, PLC machinery
