Job Description: As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing both internal and external planned works in social housing properties. Your role will involve coordinating various trades, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and delivering projects on time and within budget. You will play a crucial role in providing a safe and efficient working environment to enhance tenant satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise internal and external planned works for occupied and voided social housing properties.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Monitor project progress, ensure quality control, and oversee the work of subcontractors.
- Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues that arise promptly.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, reporting any variances.
- Mentor and support site teams, fostering a positive working environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in social housing management, particularly with planned maintenance projects.
- Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
- Full UK driving license is essential.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of relevant building regulations and health and safety legislation.
