Events Sous Chef, based in Redhill RH1, Surrey up to £35k
This growing event caterer produces high quality, stunning food for a wide range of events from private dining, pop ups, breakfast buffets, weddings and corporate events. The production kitchen is based in Redhill, Surrey where all the food is freshly prepped and finished off on location. The food produced is extremely high quality using fresh, seasonal ingredients presented with flair and creativity.
What will you be doing? As the Sous Chef, you will * Support the Head Chef in creating seasonal bespoke menus * Liaise with clients * Manage kitchen operations including prep, ordering and stock * Work alongside the team prepping food for events * Oversee events - managing the team and ensuring a smooth and seamless service * Train and develop junior team members
Working hours are 5/7 including weekends
What we are looking for in a candidate: * A strong Sous Chef with a proven work history in events or hospitality catering * Creativity and flair with a genuine passion for culinary excellence * Excellent cookery skills and able to work with fresh seasonal ingredients * An eye for detail and presentation * Ability to be client facing and liaise with people at all levels * Organised with exceptional communication skills * Flexibility and positivity * A clean driving license
