Sewing Machinist

Barker Ross are recruiting for a Sewing Machinist to work for a company based in the LE4, Beaumont Leys area. Starting as a family run business our client has grown into a professional printing company which specialises in litho, screen and digital service. They are looking for an experienced Sewing Machinest to assist their current team with various sewing and warehouse functions. The working hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 starting pay is £12p/h Job Duties: · lockstitch or twin needle sewing · Operate sewing machinery · Working with different materials · Stitching fabrics materials and textiles according to design · Quality checking · Supporting with packing and other warehouse duties Benefits: · Temp to perm · Local amenities · Onsite canteen · Working for a reputable company The ideal candidate will have: · Relevant experience · Attention to detail · Patience · Good practical skills · An interest in fashion and design · The ability to concentrate for long periods of time.
