Our client is a tier 1 contractor who pride themselves on delivering high-quality residential developments that enhance communities and provide exceptional living spaces. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager to join our team and oversee the internal fit-out of residential apartments within a new build RC Frame development.

Position Overview:
As the Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of the fit-out process within our latest residential project. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality. This position is overseeing units from 1st to handover.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for execution and delivery of a section of the project in accordance with company procedures, programme requirements and specifications.
  • Effectively and professionally Manage and monitor specified areas of the project, including supervision of site works
  • Previous experience as a site manager within the Construction Industry essential, preferably in a trade or main contractor / developer
  • Management experience coordinating multiple sub / trade contractors essential
  • Experience with digital management tools preferable
  • A good knowledge of programming and sequencing essential
  • Must be able to communicate efficiently and effectively with the construction, commercial and technical teams.
  • Knowledge of current construction methods, materials and process with specific focus upon quality and detail essential
  • Must have CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid Qualifications
  • Good communication skills both written and oral.
  • Confident and competent
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations, and H&S legislation
  • Need to be forward planners, with exceptional people skills and the ability to present ideas and negotiate.
  • Good problem solving skills are preferable
