Job Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The ideal candidate will inspire students to achieve their best, develop their mathematical skills, and foster a love for the subject.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons in line with the national curriculum. Plan and prepare well-structured lessons that promote a deep understanding of mathematics. Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, providing targeted support where needed. Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and curiosity. Work collaboratively with the Maths department to share best practices and resources. Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities. Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Mathematics. Experience teaching Maths at KS3, KS4, and preferably KS5. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching mathematics. Excellent classroom management skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities. Commitment to the school's ethos of high expectations and continuous improvement. What We Offer:
