FP&A Manager

Blair West is supporting PE-Backed multi-utility company Everflow as they look to bring in an FP&A Manager with a clear pathway for career progression in a newly-created role. This role will expose you to strategic projects with the backing of the senior leadership team. The opportunity: * Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with company objectives and providing detailed financial plans. * Develop robust financial models to support business cases, scenario planning, and long-term growth strategies. * Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights through variance analysis, KPI tracking, and risk assessment. * Present financial data to senior leadership, driving decision-making with accurate, data-driven reporting and strategic recommendations. * Collaborate cross-functionally, partnering with departments across the business to deliver financial support for operational and strategic initiatives. * Enhance financial reporting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of data. * Lead the FP&A function for Everflow, holding the responsibility of recruiting and developing the FP&A team. * Support the Head of Finance in ad-hoc financial analysis, board reporting, and strategic planning. You'll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have: * A qualification in ACA/ACCA/CIMA, with experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. * Proven expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data and produce actionable insights. * Experience with Financial Management systems and tools (e.g. SAGE Intacct, Power BI), with advanced proficiency in Excel. * Exceptional communication skills to convey financial insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. * The ability to demonstrate that you have a proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for driving business performance. * Experience in the utilities or telecoms industry is a plus, though not essential.
