Responsibilities : ? Develop and implement comprehensive event marketing strategies that align with business goals and market trends. ? Drive the overall strategic direction of event marketing campaigns to ensure they meet commercial objectives and deliver significant ROI. ? Lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for events, ensuring they are customer-focused and data-driven. ? Own key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven insights to optimise campaigns and strategies. ? Manage the event marketing budget, providing accurate forecasts and contributing to the budget-setting process. ? Implement marketing automation and content nurture strategies to engage and qualify audiences effectively. ? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct thorough data audits and gap analyses at the start of each campaign. ? Develop and execute a robust partner marketing strategy to expand reach and enhance the effectiveness of event marketing campaigns. Foster strong relationships with partners and leverage their networks for mutual benefit. ? Oversee the creation of compelling content and messaging for promotional activities. Ensure all communications maintain the correct tone of voice and are tailored to relevant personas and target audiences. Drive marketing-influenced pipeline growth by setting and achieving targets for Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs). Work closely with the sales team to ensure high conversion rates from MQLs and support their commercial objectives. ? Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, marketing insights, and competitive landscape. Share relevant information and best practices with the team and management to continuously improve event marketing strategies. Person Specification : The role would suit a candidate who has proven experience in a strategic marketing role within the events industry. ? Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM platforms (Pardot and Salesforce desirable). ? Proven track record of implementing successful segmented promotional campaigns. ? Demonstrable experience managing events marketing campaigns. ? People management and ability to motivate, train and coach the team. ? Be highly analytical and inquisitive with the ability to interpret data and convert into actionable insight (experience with GA4 desirable). ? Working knowledge of current marketing technologies to maximum effectiveness both from a lead generation and a customer service perspective
