SEN Teacher (KS2) - Smethwick

We are currently seeking an experienced SEND Teacher to join our welcoming and supportive team at a mainstream school in Smethwick. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with a small group of KS2 pupils, all of whom are working at Year 1/2 levels due to their additional needs. Role Overview: * Position: SEND Teacher (KS2) * Location: Smethwick * Days: 4 days a week (Monday to Friday) * Class Size: Approximately 10 pupils with a range of special educational needs * Support: You will be supported by Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who will work alongside you in the classroom. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the specific needs of pupils with additional needs. * Manage and support a small group of KS2 pupils working at Year 1/2 levels. * Collaborate effectively with LSAs and other staff to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment. * Use your experience and knowledge to adapt teaching methods and resources to suit the varied needs of the pupils. Requirements: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. * Proven experience working with pupils with additional needs in a classroom setting. * Strong understanding of SEND and the ability to create an inclusive, engaging learning environment. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
