Construction Lawyer

Having recently expanded its construction offering the firm is looking to recruit an additional lawyer to join this team, working closely with the partner and advising on a range of contentious and non-contentious construction law matters. With circa 3-6yrs PQE within the construction law field, you will be seeking a challenging role which offers you the opportunity to advise a client base of developers, contractors and sub-contractors on a variety of construction-related legal enquiries including: - Drafting/amending of construction law contracts including NEC and JCT contracts - Claims against contractors and subcontractors including: * breach of contract * warranty claims * building defects, * service charge disputes and * negligence claims You will have accrued circa 3-6yrs or equivalent within the construction law field, although candidates who have not practised exclusively in construction law – but wish to do so – are invited to apply. You will be working on a mixture of contentious and non-contentious construction matters but applicants with experience on only side (but who are open to expanding to the other) will also be considered.
