Civils Estimator

Seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team for a major infrastructure project. This role offers hybrid working arrangements and a competitive salary based on experience. You will be working under an NEC3 contract and reporting directly to the Senior Estimator. The position is with a Tier 1 civil contractor and is based in our Hertfordshire office. About the role of Estimator As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in developing cost estimates and managing project budgets. You will be involved in a major infrastructure project, working closely with the project team to ensure the accurate assessment of project value and construction details. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality work on large-scale projects, and you will contribute to the success of this high-profile venture. Responsibilities for Estimator Develop accurate cost estimates and budgets for civil infrastructure projects. Analyse project documentation, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate cost projections. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to refine project scopes. Provide support for cost control and risk management throughout the project lifecycle. Utilize Primavera P6 to develop and manage project schedules.Requirements for Estimator Minimum 5+ years of experience working as an Estimator on civil engineering projects. Proficiency in Primavera P6 for scheduling and project management. Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of NEC3 contracts and civil construction processes.
