Our role

As a Senior Medical Writer, you will work collaboratively with internal teams to add significant value - applying the benefit of your experience to guide projects, ensuring any copy produced by you and your team is appropriate to the brief and of a high quality. You will work with Client Services to front client relationships as appropriate, ensuring the Copy function is always represented appropriately.

What you can expect to be doing:

  • You will work closely with the Client Services team to devise solutions that fulfil and exceed client expectations, and make innovative suggestions
  • You will mentor juniors and take overall responsibility for their involvement, actively progressing their personal development
  • You will continually expand your excellent knowledge of industry regulations (e.g. the ABPI Code of Practice) and the medical approval processes (Zinc and Veeva)

What we’d like to see from you:

  • 3 + years experience as a medical writer in an agency setting ideally across creative medical writing. At least 6 months in a SMW role or at a similar level
  • Some experience working on promotional projects
  • Therapeutic experience in Vaccines, Infectious diseases or Pediatrics would be ideal
  • Global experience
  • ABPI expertise
  • Management/Mentoring experience is also needed as you will line manage a small team
