Role: Fullstack Software EngineerSalary/Package: £50k-£60kCompany Sector: FintechTech: TypeScript, Node, React, GraphQLLocation: Central LondonWFH / Hybrid: 2 days a week on siteBounce have partnered up exclusively with an innovative start-up revolutionizing portfolio management by streamlining data collection and enhancing collaboration between investors and their portfolio companies.Their automated data platform simplifies everything from financials to ESG analysis and reporting, empowering data-driven decision-making for private equity, venture capital, and government-backed funds.Role Overview:We're looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer with a strong technical foundation and a business/product-focused mindset. The ideal candidate will be proficient in our tech stack in NextJS (React), GraphQL, and TypeScript.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain web applications using NextJS (React), GraphQL, and TypeScript.Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define, design, and implement new features.Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and other collaborative development practices.Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve performance and reliability.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Proven experience as a Software Engineer, particularly with NextJS (React), GraphQL, and TypeScript.Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices.Experience with modern software development practices, including agile methodologies.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.Preferred Skills:Experience in the finance or investment sectors.Knowledge of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) data and reporting.Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing.
