Key Responsibilities: * Conduct planned maintenance, inspections, and improvements of mechanical and electrical systems. * Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnosing and repairing issues effectively to minimize downtime. * Participate in project work, including the installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of equipment. * Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with both internal and regulatory standards. * Collaborate closely with the engineering team to communicate maintenance issues and results, ensuring transparency. * Provide support to fellow engineers as needed, fostering a smooth and efficient workflow. * Manage spare parts requests and liaise with manufacturers for technical guidance. * Ensure smooth shift handovers to maintain the facility’s continuous operation. * Keep work areas clean and organized to uphold a safe and efficient environment. The Ideal Candidate: * Proven experience in fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of industrial machinery. * Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous. * Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and technical documents. * Solid knowledge of steam, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, with skills in PLC fault finding.
