Commercial Business Partner Contract: 9 Month contract (Chance of extention) Salary: Grade 8b/c Salary to £85,601 dependent on experience Location: Hybrid - Flexible working across a number of UK office locations We are working on behalf of a central government function to recruit an experienced procurement professional with a background in public sector procurement. The role will be focused on working with stakeholders to identify how services to the organisation can be procured and implemented across a variety of complex ICT base projects. Responsibilities: Identifying requirement of the project with internal stateholders. Assessing most appropriate products, suppliers and procurement processes to be used to secure goods and services for the organisation. Working with procurement teams to engage with suppliers and manage relationships, internally and extyernally. Creatively assessing ways of delivering procurement projects within public sector procurement directives.Requirements: Knowledge and experience of public sector procurement. Experience of procurement of ICT product and services contracts and categories. Solid, experienced procurement professional, who is self sufficient and a self starter. Highly commercially aware, and able to identify alternative sources and approaches towards delivering a service.
