Vehicle Technician Location: Livingston Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 (30 mins unpaid lunch) Salary: Competitive + bonus & benefits Employment Type: Permanent Job Overview: Igloo is looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our client’s team in Livingston. You'll handle a variety of mechanical and electrical repairs, ensuring all vehicles meet top safety and functionality standards. Key Responsibilities: * Perform approved repairs following job cards. * Remove and refit parts on various vehicle brands. * Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues. * Conduct safety checks on newly arrived vehicles. * Ensure high-quality repairs and self-check your work. * Maintain a tidy and safe work environment. Skills and Experience: * Good knowledge of multi-brand cars and vans. * Experience in mechanical and electrical fitting. * Ability to work independently and in a team. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. * Understanding of Health and Safety requirements. * Willingness to train as an MOT tester if not already qualified.
