Head of People Location: London Based - Hybrid working Salary: £90,000 plus car allowance and bonus. As the Head of People, you will report to the Chief People Officer. You will work closely with the Managing Director to foster a transparent, high-performing culture. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Advisor: You will partner with the Managing Director and their leadership team to execute the people strategy while coaching and supporting their development. This includes leading organisational design initiatives to deliver tailored people changes, talent management, learning and development, and reward solutions. You will also develop a strategic workforce plan aligned with business goals and new opportunities. Cultivating effective relationships with the wider HR function will be essential Data-Driven Insights Leader: You will monitor key metrics such as labour costs, engagement, and talent retention, generating regular reports to share insights with senior leadership. Data-driven decision-making will play a crucial role in driving success. Change Agent: Leading cultural change initiatives and fostering a healthy work environment is a core part of this role. You will manage the people aspects of new business deals, including bids and contract mobilisations, and oversee the people components of margin enhancement initiatives Trusted Coach: You will create an environment of high performance, trust, and openness by establishing strong relationships with the Senior Leadership Team through regular communication, respect, and genuine interest in their well-being and development. Handling escalated HR cases and overseeing cyclical activities, you will provide expert counsel and guidance Custodian of Culture: Promoting continuous improvement and adaptability will be key to your success. You will encourage employees to embrace change as an opportunity for growth and development. As a value-driven leader, you will exemplify authenticity, integrity, and a growth mindset. In addition, you will lead and inspire a team of People Business Partners Qualifications and Skills: Recent experience in a senior HR role A strong track record in managing and driving HR strategy in a fast-paced, complex environment is essential Comprehensive experience as a Senior HR Business Partner is required, along with a commercial and pragmatic approach to human capital solutions Strong ability to provide accurate and timely people insights Experience in project management and knowledge of TUPE regulations are also necessary Excellent presentation and communication skills, along with strong personal organisation skills, are crucial for this role Desirable: A degree and CIPD qualification are desirable The role requires the ability to travel and a clean driving licence
