Energy Markets Analyst£75,000 to £90,000 p.a. + Performance Bonus + Full Hybrid working !This position is ideal for a highly analytical and ambitious individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As an Energy Market Analyst, you will be responsible for providing "real-time" analysis and commentary to Derivative and Physical Trading firms of energy markets, with a primary focus on global crude/oil products and gas, specifically in the European and US regions. You will work closely with senior energy analysts and the wider markets team, contributing to research, developing analytical tools, and engaging with clients during the trading day.Key Responsibilities:Provide real-time analysis on energy markets, with a focus on global crude/oil products and gas, especially in Europe and the US.Engage with clients during the trading day, offering insights and actionable analysis.Collaborate closely with senior energy analysts and the broader markets team, covering gas, oil, and power markets.Contribute to thematic research on relevant energy market trends.Develop and enhance analytical tools and research products.Build and manage market connections while maintaining existing relationships.Key Requirements:Minimum of a 2:1 undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.2+ years of relevant market analysis experience in oil or gas markets.Proven ability to deliver insightful and actionable analysis in a high-pressure, real-time environment.Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team.
