Senior Azure Data Engineer

Role: Senior Azure Data EngineerREMOTE WORKINGSalary: £40,000 - £55,000 (dependent on experience)Insight into the Company:A government affiliated charity, who focus on supporting those in need with housing, social connections and more, is looking for an experienced data engineer to join their intimate team for a FTC lasting 12 months - with the possibility of extension.The ideal candidate will have some experience with architecture and used ADF extensively. The project you would be involved in will focus on bringing the data in source systems onto Azure, in addition to providing the foundations for later ML and AI work (no experience needed but would be great to have).Role and Responsibilities:You will design, build and upgrade data pipelinesYou will work in CI/CD and with Software/ DevOps teams in the organisationYou will have expertise in azure - from collecting, to transforming to loading!Skills and Experience:Essential to have experience with: 3 years experienceAzure and ADFSQLPythonRegular stakeholder managementData warehouse managementDesirable to have experience with: AI and ML knowledgeIaC (Terraform)Interview Process:There are 3 stages to the process:Introductory 20 min conversation with the Head of Business Insights2 hour take home task using Python, SQL and DatabricksFinal interview
