Previous experience in the Investments industry is not required.The RoleThis role will provide the ideal foundation to develop into an all-round Investor Relations professional. Investor RelationsContribute to fundraising processes, update and assist on data room materials e.g. presentations, DDQ, case studies etc.Ensure all investor meetings and conferences are captured, relevant materials prepared and shared with the IR team and partners Support the annual investor meeting delivery, update presentations, scripts, and coordinate with Investment and Finance teams, supporting with logisticsWork with Finance Team to manage the investor query process and support on external investor communications such as Fund Extensions Complete industry surveys on a semi and annual basis Monitor industry trends and competitors (through benchmarking analysis etc.) to understand the Firm’s market positioning Business DevelopmentSupport due diligence process for potential investors, handle queries and information requests Represent the company at industry conferences and networking events Support the research and outreach to new potential investors, leveraging industry contacts and databasesMaintain and further develop the CRM system, conducting investor research and taking responsibility for Investor Profiles and their delivery to the wider teamMarketingWork on the Marketing Calendar, working with the Marketing Lead, to create material to support investor communications, including transaction updates and press releasesSupport the production of quarterly and annual investors reports, and other investor material Contribute to creating the Annual Responsibility Report; update the survey, collect results, and presenting our findings. InvestmentsMonitor all the company transactions and portfolios, to ensure deep knowledge of all investments, and that best practices are employed in external communications regarding developments in portfolio companiesDistribute weekly investment updates taken from the Investment Team meetingThe PersonSelf-motivated, analytical and enthusiastic team player Highly organised with excellent project and time management skillsImpeccable financial acumen and attention to detail to disseminate complex financial data into investor-friendly contentStrong communicator with excellent verbal and written EnglishStrong desire to analyse detailed investment opportunities in mid-market private companies, and to craft creative, best practice investor interface for each, working closely together with the Firm’s investment, finance and compliance teamsA minimum of two years’ experience in a relevant environmentThe DetailsPackage: £45,000-£55,000 + bonusLocation: Central LondonWorking: Atleast 3 days per week in the office, up to two WFH
