Proposals Engineer

Location: Sittingbourne, UK

Job Scope:
As a Proposals Engineer, you will be responsible for developing accurate and detailed proposals based on customer requirements. You will work closely with clients, conduct site surveys, and ensure that all proposals are completed on time and in line with project specifications. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a strong understanding of customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to establish clear project requirements.
• Conduct on-site surveys to gather additional project details.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive proposals in a timely manner.
• Update and maintain internal systems with proposal information.
• Follow up on proposals to meet target quotation levels.
• Ensure smooth handover to the project team for accepted proposals.

Personal Requirements and Qualifications:

• Relevant qualifications, ideally HND/HNC/C&G or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year's experience in water treatment systems.
• Experience within the UK water industry is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to sites with occasional overnight stays.
• Full UK driving licence (any endorsements must be disclosed during the application process).
