Job Title: FLT Reach Driver
Location: Trafford Park
Salary: 12.50 per hour
Hours: 07.00 - 19.00 hrs - 4on/4off
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
About the Role:
We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced FLT Reach Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling stock accurately and safely. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and commitment to health and safety standards are crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely load and unload vehicles, ensuring all activities are carried out accurately, safely, and in a timely manner.
Always maintain a high level of attention to detail.
Use RF equipment to put away stock and pick items based on provided paperwork.
Ensure all stock in the warehouse is free from damage, rotated correctly, and stored in accordance with company standards.
Stack goods in the correct bay and follow stock control instructions.
Report any stock discrepancies or issues promptly.
Complete daily checks of material handling equipment (MHE) and warehouse areas for damage and rectify or report issues immediately.
Maintain MHE to a high standard of cleanliness, ensuring compliance with the standards expected by the Green Group.
Assist with stock checks as required.
Ensure all paperwork is stored securely and completed accurately.
Maintain general housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Assist with any other warehouse duties within capabilities and training.
Ensure compliance with health & safety standards, ISO9001, and ISO14001 policies and procedures.
Key Skills & Experience:
Valid FLT Reach Truck License.
Experience in a similar role within a warehouse environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Knowledge of health & safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
