Regional Procurement Buyer - MRO

iO Associates have partnered with a Global Food Manufacturing company who are looking for a Reginal Procurement Buyer - MRO to join their team in Chiswick Park. This is a global company which has a longstanding history and have many well known brands, put people first and have a good track record of developing those that are ambitious and willing to get stuck in. As a Regional Procurement Buyer, you'll be reporting directly into the Procurement Head helping to lead and manage the procurement of MRO for the UK&I region, and play a critical role in ensuring supply continuity, cost optimisation, and sustainable sourcing.You will do this by maintaining and developing the supplier base, drive strategic relationships, and execute material group strategies. Qualifications and Experience:Graduate qualification or proven experience in indirect procurement.Negotiation and commercial analytical skills Supplier/Customer relationship management experience or excellent inter-personnel skills with the ability to form strong working relationshipsProject management and leadership skills, including how to make a strong recommendationThe ability to think strategically and set a 3 year category plan.The ability to lead many workstreams and work in a team whilst managing key stakeholdersDemonstrate experience of developing, leading, and delivering change implementation within an organisationExcellent communication and influencing skills within the team and across the business.MRO category experience is desirable.MCIPS or equivalent certification is desirable.Bonus Scheme Hybrid working - (3days in office) Single cover Private medical 25 days + statutory bank holidays 1 Volunteering Day per yearIf you feel like you meet most of the above criteria and would like to find out more, what are you waiting for?
