SEN Learning Support Assistant - primary school Brixton ASAP £95-£110 per day At Veritas we work with a number of schools across London and the surrounding areas supplying qualified teachers and support staff for for long term, short term, daily, and permanent roles. We work with state, private, independent and SEN schools. We are currently looking for an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant for a primary school based in Brixton. The role will be full time, long term and will be to start as soon as possible. You will be supporting students with learning difficulties on a 1:1 basis. Responsibilities include: Supporting students with SEN Working proactively to help students achieve their attainment levels Encouraging students to engage proactively with their learning Helping to provide a safe environment for children to learn Assisting the teacher with students general learning and development.You will be: Knowledgeable and experienced in special needs and learning difficulties A strong communicator, able to build a rapport with young people Patient and empathetic Reliable and committed to the school and students' improvement Enthusiastic and engaging Able to work alongside the teacher and independently Certifications and attendance to training courses for SEN are beneficial, as well as first hand experience with SEN.To be considered for this position, please respond to this ad with your CV outlining your relevant experience.
