Head of SEN 3-6 month initial interim contract Inside IR35 – £550-£600 per day Hybrid working South East, Local Authority ASAP Start Are you an experienced Head of SEND? Do you have a track record of leading a large SEN service within a Local Authority? Due to internal movement this Local Authority are looking for a Head of SEN to lead the service until new permanent member is appointed. Your duties as Head of SEN: Ensure that the Council meets its statutory duties and obligations including improving the performance within SEND and the allocation of EHCPs Report into the Director of Education Line manage ~4 managers, and the wider service Linking in with the Delivering Better Value (DBV) team Experience needed as Head of SEN: Have a track record of delivering service improvements and reducing service costs Must hold exemplary knowledge of SEND legislation and provision Experienced in leading a SEND service within Local Authority If you, or someone you know, would like to apply for any of these roles, please email your updated CV – or please call us on 0117 313 7110.
