Brand Manager – Bicycle Accessories £35K plus benefits package Poole, Dorset/Hybrid Working A PASSION FOR CYCLING AND/OR SOME EXPERIENCE IN THE CYCLING OR SPORTS INDUSTRY WOULD BE A SIGNIFICANT BONUS IN THIS BUSY AND EXCITING ROLE. REMOTE WORKING - 3 DAYS/WEEK IN THE OFFICE A solid background in the cycling industry or FMCG/consumer goods is essential for this new and exciting role with this leading specialist brand, loved by riders and racers from pro to leisure, who need to keep their equipment in top condition and ready to go. With a huge range of lubricants, sprays, apparel, cleaning & maintenance products and equipment, available via specialist retailers and DTC eCommerce - products made by riders, for riders – our client is now expanding rapidly into international markets, building a presence in new territories and sectors. Reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager, our client needs a commercially savvy, hands-on brand-building specialist operator to drive the growth of its products targeted at lovers of the Road & Gravel biking scene. In this challenging and exciting role, you’ll be responsible for delivering the marketing plan for the category - identifying opportunities to build, deliver and optimise marketing, communications and range development strategies. You’ll be joining a tight-knit team of like-minded marketing professionals, charged with growing the brand across the globe. Working with the senior marketing manager to help develop a cohesive global marketing plan for Road & Gravel biking products. Briefing and collaborating with internal teams to create, launch and optimise both on-line and off-line marketing activities. Developing high quality and compelling marketing materials for monthly campaigns, new product launches, and athlete/team sponsorships. Liaising with Communication, Design and Content teams to develop best in class category communications. Managing project timelines and tracking budgets. Monitoring and reporting on the performance of marketing & promotional activity and spend, identifying opportunities to optimise spend and improve effectiveness. Supporting the active brand ambassador and digital influencer programme. Hands-on experience working in a dynamic FMCG or other consumer goods environment. Proven experience of developing and implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns and the ability to craft compelling consumer stories that drive interest in the brand. Ideally a 2-wheel fanatic who keeps up with the latest in the cycling industry, and almost certainly likes riding a bike. Evidence of building strong relationships and positive impacts of people. Good IT skills across MS Office and Adobe programs. Excellent project management skills, and an eye for putting the right process in place to get the job done.
