Benefits: Life Insurance, Medicash scheme, Free car parking on site, Canteen and Career progression. #wbstaff Job Title: Project Manager Department: Engineering Purpose of Post To manage and facilitate NPD projects, from concept to commercialisation, that supports the strategic goals of the company. Key Tasks 1. Manage all aspects of the product development process, including: Adhere to project timelines Meet the project budget and business requirements. Meet sales and commercial requirements. Meet production requirements. Co-ordinate internal and external stakeholders. Manage regular project meetings and Gate review meetings Produce weekly progress reports. 2. Report to and assist the Head of New Product Development 3. Partner with the Engineering Management team to ensure objectives are achieved. 4. Produce detailed weekly NPD metric reports for the Senior Leadership team. 5. Ensure customer specifications are managed in line with budget expectations. 6. Co-ordinate solutions to both technical and commercial challenges. 7. Manage projects in line with company objectives. 8. Assist Sales Administration with required tender /quotation preparation. 9. Manage solutions to in service product failures with the aftermarket team, to the satisfaction of the customer. 10. Ensure process change control procedures are adhered to and communicated. 11. Assist the various departments in pre-customer, sign off / acceptance. 12. Conduct post review of project at closure for improvement points and closed loop feedback. 13. Manage daily running of the development department alongside Project Managers. 14. Manage team, including recruitment (as appropriate), training and evaluation of training, discipline, motivation, and recognition. 15. Lead existing team members ensuring that each have a clear view of their roles and responsibilities, which will be in-line with corporate objectives. 16. Work with strategic purchasing to agree Terms and Conditions with all key suppliers and ensure all development parts arrive as and when required. 17. Complete annual appraisals and ensure these are reviewed and set to the company objectives. 18. Manage daily meetings and ensure open communication is encouraged throughout the projects. General 1. Undertake all duties in line with general data protection and maintain utmost level of confidentiality. 2. Ensure work is completed to meet the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard. 3. Ensure that you treat those with whom they come into contact in a courteous and respectful manner in accordance with the dignity at work procedure. 4.
