Pupose : This role is for a Product Owner to shape the BAU maintenance, compliance and development of an employee payroll portal called IRIS’s My ePay Window (MEPW) software. This secure online software provides a cloud self-service payslip and payroll collaboration facility that enables employees, employers and bureaus to process and access payslips, P60s, P11Ds, P45s, CIS statements, that are uploaded from various payroll software in our portfolio. Whilst this digital platform does not process payroll calculations, a basic understanding of payroll products and processes is an added advantage. The three groups of users served by the portal are employees, employers and payroll bureaus. As an expert in creating clear and concise customer-oriented requirements and outcomes, you will own the translation of the product vision to development deliverables, to ensure our objectives and key results are fully met. To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate experience in working closely with technical resources whilst solution and delivery are in motion. You will be responsible for ensuring the technical delivery meets business needs, and for updating and communicating with business stakeholders. You will be a specialist in Payroll & HR software, working with different areas of the business to identify requirements, scope, benefits, and desired outcomes for your areas of change. You will also already be competent in Agile Methodologies of product development, with a focus on innovation and positive disruption. You’ll know how to get the best from data analytics through analysis, and be experienced in bringing out the best in design, UI and UX. This is a great opportunity for you to join a growing customer-centric business, with significant opportunities for you to grow your skillsets into the wider Payroll product management within the IRIS Human Capital Management (HCM) function Experience : • Experienced Product Owner or Product Manager, with background in software deliverables • Excellent track record of translating and delivering clear, detailed requirements and supporting backlogs – experience ideally with Microsoft Azure DevOps • Demonstrable experience of engaging with and putting the customer first • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Collaborative and flexible approach to agile software development, tools and processes • Disciplined management ability: caring about process, quality, and managing expectations • Good planning and proactive in problem solving • Commercial and revenue awareness and understanding • Demonstrable ability to embrace change and adapt to continuous improvement • Experience in usage of HR or Payroll software products and associated employee portals
