Trainee Fence Erector/Trainee Fencing Supervisor

V-Recruit have an exciting opportunity for 3 x Trainee Fence Erectors/ Trainee Fencing Supervisors to start work in the Rotherham/Sheffield area as soon as possible.

Our client are a well-known and reputable fencing and landscaping contractor that operate throughout Yorkshire and surrounding counties.

Day to day, your duties to include working mainly on construction sites, erecting various and all types of fencing.

We are able to offer temp to perm contracts, following a successful 3-month trial period, with this client. Our client can offer year-round job security, enhanced training and career development for their committed staff, and excellent opportunity to earn bonus and attractive price-work overtime packages.

The vision for these Trainee roles, is to offer comprehensive, progressive and intense training alongside their best and most successful Fencers, to allow you to learn the tips of the trade from the best.

Starting rate is 12.90- 15.00 PER HOUR plus bonus for meeting team meterage targets.

Realistic earnings for the top fencing staff would be in excess of 50k per annum, whilst still maintaining 3pm finishes each day.

40-45 hours per week, Monday-Friday

6am-7am starts (usually back in the yard by 3pm)

(Weekend work available in busy periods)

The right candidates must have a CSCS card, own PPE, and be ambitious and self motivated. No previous fencing experience is necessary for these roles, but you must be able to demonstrate that you have the right skill-set for these roles and be willing to work outdoors, year round in all weather.
You must also have own transport, due to early morning starts.

Other tickets/certifications, such as NPORS/CPCS FTD/Roller, Cat & Genny, Level 2/3 NVQ in Fencing, Groundworks or Landscaping-related occupations are advantageous, and may be offered to hardworking employees as professional development.
