Sheltered Scheme Manager

A vacancy is arising for a Part Time Scheme Manager at a Sheltered Housing Scheme for older people in Eastbourne comprising 62 Leasehold flats. Monday to Friday 8.30am to 1.30pm Salary circa £17,000 pa plus pension contribution. The duties of the Scheme Manager will include the following:- • Providing support and helping residents resolve health and welfare issues in a supportive, caring and effective manner; • Managing the Scheme to ensure that it is maintained to the highest possible standard; • Liaising with the Managing Agents appointed by the Freeholder and with the Freeholder as necessary. The Scheme Manager‘s key priority is to enable the residents to live independently within the framework and support offered by the Scheme. The successful candidate must be flexible and adaptable, have experience of working with people over 55 and have commitment to and understanding of the principles and practice of care. The successful candidate will also be expected to be a qualified First Aider.
