Job Description: As a Water Hygiene Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of water hygiene and treatment services at client sites. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in water hygiene, Legionella control, and compliance. The role involves travel to multiple sites, so a driving license is essential. Key Responsibilities: Conducting Legionella risk assessments and water monitoring. Carrying out routine sampling, temperature checks, and analysis of water systems. Cleaning, disinfection, and chlorination of water tanks and cooling towers. Assisting in the implementation of water hygiene policies and procedures. Preparation of service reports and maintaining accurate records. Advising clients on water safety and best practices. Identifying and rectifying faults or areas of non-compliance in water systems. Requirements: Previous experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer or in a similar role. Knowledge of Legionella control and relevant health and safety regulations (L8 & ACoP). Full UK driving license. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills for client interactions. Willingness to travel to client sites. Desirable Qualifications: City & Guilds in Legionella Awareness or similar qualifications. Experience with cooling towers and closed systems.
