We are proud to be partnering with an award-winning rail organisation, who are looking to appoint a Decarbonisation & Energy Manager on a permanent.
This will be a full-time position based in either London or Birmingham, with hybrid working (maximum of 2 days home working) and a salary of £45,000.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable background and expertise in data collection, analysis and producing data reports.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Delivering energy efficient and decarbonisation focused business practices, reporting processes and strategies
- Ensuring the organisation meet their strategic goals & targets with respect to decarbonisation, science-based targets, and traction and non-traction energy
- Improving energy efficiency by evaluating energy use and putting in place new technologies, policies and changes where needed
- Developing and delivering decarbonisation initiatives to reach net zero goals
Experience required:
- Management experience
- Demonstrable background in analysis of carbon use, energy and water impacts
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Ability to work in in a pressurized environment to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of carbon foot printing and emissions
Working hours:
- 35 hours per week
- Mon - Fri
