Broker Oversight Manager, Costs & Charges Analysis

Our client, a rapidly growing investment manager leading the industry with unmatched performance in pioneering global macroeconomic strategies, has created a global role, assuming full responsibility for managing all brokerage costs associated with trading globally across every asset class they trade.Your responsibilities will include:Manage and analyse global brokerage fees, costs, commissions and pricing across all asset classes traded globally.Conduct cost base and commission analysis of brokerage fees charged by brokers, ensuring accurate associated fees for each asset class and evaluating the pricing structures and their impact on the overall cost base.Calculating and adjusting the P&L.Provide detailed analysis and recommendations to optimise cost efficiency.Conducting transaction cost analysis (TCA) and identifying areas for cost reduction.Understanding unique brokerage fee structures and market dynamics of each asset class, comparing brokerage fees and costs against industry benchmarks, ensuring competitive pricing and negotiating better terms with brokers.Liaise with brokers and resolving any discrepancies or issues related to brokerage fees.Manage relationships with brokers across all business areas pre-trade and post-trade.Produce management information reports to monitor the operational performance of brokers.Attend broker meetings and reviews.This is a fantastic opportunity offering a global remit where you can make your mark by negotiating terms and pricing with brokers, as well as building out the role and processes.In return, our client provides a fast-paced, supportive, and collaborative team environment.
