Logistics Coordinator

Are you an experienced Logistics Coordinator looking for an exciting opportunity? Our client is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team based in Solihull. This role involves using coordination skills to help achieve day to day goals of the logistics and transport team.

• Pay- 11.74 per hour

• Working hours: Monday to Friday 10:00 to 14:00

The Role:

As a Logistics Co-Ordinator, you will:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the driver team.
• Allocate drivers based on skills, abilities, and customer requirements.
• Work closely with drivers to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Liaise with recruitment to ensure optimal driver coverage.
• Build and maintain successful working relationships with drivers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls with drivers.
• Coordinate with the Planning Team for smooth journey execution.
• Provide updates to the Customer Service Team.
• Offer out-of-hours emergency cover on a rota basis.
• Respond to emails from team members, other departments, and stakeholders.
