Are you an experienced tutor with a passion for helping students excel in their studies in Buckinghamshire? We are seeking dedicated 1:1 Tutors to deliver personalized tutoring in core subjects to primary and secondary school children in Buckinghamshire. Position: 1:1 Tutor (Experienced) Job type: Contract Location: Buckinghamshire Subjects: Core Subjects (Primary & Secondary) Rate of Pay: Starting from £22 per hour Hours: Flexible (Morning, Afternoon, or Evening Sessions) Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored 1:1 tutoring sessions in core subjects, focusing on the individual needs of each student. Utilize your experience to assess learning styles and adapt your teaching methods to maximize student progress. Monitor and report on student performance, providing constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians. Create and deliver lesson plans that reflect the national curriculum. Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience in tutoring or teaching primary or secondary school children is essential. Qualifications such as QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) are highly desirable. Strong expertise in core subjects (Maths, English, Science). Proven ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with SEN (Special Education Needs) is desirable To be eligible for this role, you must : Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child-related references Prospero Teaching can offer the successful candidate: Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behaviour management In-house Training and Development Team Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
