Transport Planner

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Transport planner with a passion for Logistics to work for a well known Distribution centre in Liverpoool. Job Description; - Effeciently plan and schedule routes for vehicle fleet - Communicate with drivers and external partners to ensure timely delivery of goods - Manage all driver rotas, log hours, plan routes and mange workload - Monitor and ensure compliance with all transport regulations - Engaging with internal and external stakeholders Experience; - Proven experience as a Transport planner - Driven with excellent communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel - Good geographical knowledge - Proven ability to problem solve and work in a fast paced environment - Able to build strong relations with internal and external stakeholders Salary; £28,000 - £30,000 per annum Permanent opporunity Hours of work: 46.5 hours 07:00 - 16.30 Benefits; Contributory pension 25 days holiday Birthday off The opportunity to be part of a growing team Supportive office environment
