Legal Counsel – Leading AI Company - Hybrid in London.

We have been entrusted with the task of finding a Legal Counsel based in London for Europe's leading applied AI company. This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work model. This firm of 400 including 80 Ph.D. presents a unique opportunity to collaborate with experts and leaders in AI, allowing you to expand your knowledge in this transformative space.

As the Legal Counsel, you will directly report to the Senior Legal Counsel with significant exposure to the GC and assume the role of a trusted adviser across the organisation, providing exposure to a diverse group of technical and commercial stakeholders. Your contributions will be key in addressing a broad spectrum of legal issues, with a primary focus on commercial and public sector contracts, as well as intellectual property and licensing matters, all centred around AI.

We are actively seeking a legal professional with a strong background in IT and IP law, either from a leading law firm or someone seeking to transition into an in-house role from such a background.

About You:

• You are a 2+ PQE qualified lawyer in the UK with an openness to those with wider experience who fit the role.
• You have received training and qualification from a leading law firm, specialising in commercial technology and intellectual property, with exposure to privacy compliance.
• You have a solid understanding of legal issues relating to AI and data projects.
• You’re able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a diverse client base.
• Any exposure to public sector procurement would be a plus.
