Project Manager

Vanbrugh Group are a Specialist Construction Recruitment Consultancy who recruit Commercial and Production staff for our clients. Our clients are seeking a Project Manager to lead a £4.5M cladding remediation project. The project covers 3 blocks, located next to one another and involves the removal and reinstatement of external cladding systems to the occupied 8 storey buildings. Other roofing and roofline works will also be carried out. The buildings are occupied and located near Weybridge, Surrey. Along with the support of an onsite liaison team, Site Managers, Supervisors and officed based surveyors your remit will be to deliver the project for the main contractor. Key Responsibilities: Project Manage and coordinate all site activities. Oversee cladding installation processes and ensure compliance with specifications. Ensure strict compliance to health and safety regulations. Coordinate and liaise with specialist subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on site promptly and effectively. Required Experience: Experience managing refurbishment projects ideally to the value of £5M 5 Years’ experience working for a refurbishment main contractor, or specialist cladding contractor Leadership experience Good IT skills, knowledge of Fieldview advantageous Valid driving licence Competent use in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel Trackers Excellent client engagement skills Excellent Health and Safety Awareness Excellent people skills and the ability to drive performance from your team of staff Cladding experience Retrofit works Qualifications/ Certifications: Cladding and retrofit experience preferred although not essential First Aid Certificate SMSTS certificate desirable Experience and knowledge of Quality Management systems and processes Ability to plan and coordinate effective resource allocation including supply chain, staff, directly employed operatives etc. Valid driving licence
