Mechanical Project Manager - SIte Manager

Site Based - Mechanical Project Manager For this role you can either be a site manager who is actively looking for a step up in responsibility, and money, or already working in a project manager role and you want to work with a company that rewards hard work & results. The Mechanical Project Manager The nuts and bolts of your role will be to look after a single project, being based on site and overseeing the project on the ground with support from a contracts manager. The projects are in the education and commercial sectors between £2.5m and £5m so having a background in this sector is ideal although not 100% essential. You will have extensive experience in ensuring project delivery from the pre-con design phase to handover. You’ll also be used to writing and handling the programming, procurement, managing the finances and variation accounts, health and safety as well as providing a snag free delivery. In addition, you will be client facing and as such be comfortable with client liaison/being the main point of contact ensuring handover with final accounts and that all O&Ms are completed. Experience and Qualifications Realistically you’ll need to have experience delivering projects from pre-construction phase through to final accounts and handover. You’ll also need to be able to show you have experience managing teams whether across multiple projects or on single, larger projects. As the name suggests a good knowledge of mechanical building services installations and equipment will be needed however they do understand that you will have more than likely come from either a mechanical or electrical background. As long as you can show knowledge of how one side affects the other with regards timelines, programmes and procurement then that will work. Remuneration This role is open to this who wish to prove themselves, but need some more training and/or experience, as well as those who are already working inside a similar role as such the range is diverse but candidates can expect between £55,000 and £70,000 + package
