About the role: As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the early learning journey of children aged 3 to 5. This part-time position offers flexibility, perfect for teachers looking to balance work with other commitments. You will have the opportunity to create exciting, imaginative lesson plans that ignite curiosity and support children in their social, emotional, and academic development. The role includes teaching both Nursery and Reception classes, helping young learners build foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and creative exploration. You will be responsible for assessing the progress of your pupils, identifying areas where they may need extra support, and working closely with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure every child thrives. Application Requirements: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). • Experience teaching in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). • A passion for early childhood education and child development. • Strong classroom management and communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team. • Enthusiasm for creating a fun and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the EYFS framework. • Foster an inclusive environment where all children feel supported and valued. • Monitor and record children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and carers. • Encourage creative, play-based learning while meeting key developmental milestones. • Work collaboratively with the teaching assistant, support staff, and leadership team. • Participate in school activities, including parent-teacher events and extracurricular programmes.
