Shipping Coordinator

PE Global is recruiting a Shipping Coordinator for our multinational manufacturing client based in Peterborough. The role is an initial 12-month contract and the role is hybrid (3 days a week onsite). Responsibilities of the role: • Arrange for shipments of products to be dispatched to customers based on available product • Working with carriers and customers to agree collection schedules • Send all relevant documentation for the shipments to the necessary contacts • Prepare, submit and record the export entry for goods sent overseas Requirements: • Problem solving – Proactive and eager to look for resolutions. • Great customer management abilities • Experience of UK Import/Export would be very beneficial • Proactive and organised individual who is confident to work from own initiative but can also collaborate as a team • Experience working with HMRC duty suspension schemes would be very beneficial • Experience complying with established regulatory procedures, i.e incoterms and SOX would be very beneficial Please note PE Global cannot assist with any visa sponsorship and any candidates must have a valid visa to live and work within the UK for at least the next 12 months.
