Senior GenAI Engineer

We are seeking a Senior GenAI Engineer to design, develop, and maintain advanced AI-driven solutions, leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and deploying them within the firm’s robust infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Design and maintain scalable Python web services running on Kubernetes, utilizing external LLM providers and deploying these models for internal use.Create reliable, high-performance APIs on top of these services and develop core data assets to be consumed across the firm.Lead the deployment of open-source AI models for internal use, ensuring integration and optimization within the firm’s systems.Work closely with developers and business users to understand requirements and translate them into functional, high-impact software solutions.Mentor and train engineers on AI techniques, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.Play a pivotal role in projects that have a significant impact on the business, influencing decision-making at the highest levels.Required Qualifications:Strong track record in developing and maintaining production web services.Deep knowledge of Python, particularly in the context of building scalable web services.Proven experience working with and deploying large language models.Expertise in owning and managing critical web services in a live production environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in deploying and managing services using Kubernetes.Background in MLOps, including best practices for deploying, scaling, and monitoring machine learning models.Experience in delivering AI-based outputs to a non-technical audience.Familiarity with the finance domain, particularly in areas such as trading processes or asset classes, is a plus.This is a unique opportunity to apply your AI and machine learning expertise in a fast-paced, high-impact environment at the forefront of financial technology.
